Acetalization of ethyl acetoacetate with ethylene glycol using heteropolyacid H3PW12O40 supported on active carbon as catalyst was written by Yu, Qingyue;Wu, Wenliang;Xu, Ning. And the article was included in Yingyong Huagong in 2006.SDS of cas: 6413-10-1 The following contents are mentioned in the article:
Catalysts were prepared by impregnation method of phosphor-tungstic acid supported on activated carbon dealt with surfactant and characterized by temperature-programmed adsorption of probe mol. ammonia (NH3-TPD) techniques. While PW loading was as high as 30%, the acid amount was the largest. Thirty percent PW/C exhibited higher catalytic activity than other PW/C catalysts, the yield of fructone was 87.5%. The suitable reaction temperature was 80°. and the optimal reaction time was 30 min while the ratio of Et acetoacetate to glycol was 1:1.5, the catalyst treated with surfactant could be used 9 cycles, the yield of fructone was over 85%. This study involved multiple reactions and reactants, such as Ethyl 2-(2-methyl-1,3-dioxolan-2-yl)acetate (cas: 6413-10-1SDS of cas: 6413-10-1).
Ethyl 2-(2-methyl-1,3-dioxolan-2-yl)acetate (cas: 6413-10-1) belongs to dioxole derivatives. Dioxoles, particularly fluorinated dioxoles, are used as co-monomers to make polymers that find use in forming protective coatings for chemical resistance. Dioxole functionalized metal-organic frameworks have also been recently reported.SDS of cas: 6413-10-1
