The mixture is stirred for 1 hour at room temperature and then 1 hour at 0 C. The precipitate is filtered, washed with cold THF (20 ml) and dried overnight in vacuum at room temperature to give 5.7 g of olmesartan medoxomil hydrobromide Form B (98.6 % area)
