All isolated compounds 1-4 were tested for their cytotoxicity against the six cancer cell lines using the MTT assay. Among them, compound 3 displayed significant cytotoxic effects toward all six tested cancer cell lines, with IC50 values ranging from 2.8-8.7 M in vitro.
