Preparation of fructone catalyzed by water-soluble Bronsted acid ionic liquids was written by Wang, Yuan Yuan;Wang, Rong;Wu, Liang Chun;Dai, Li Yi. And the article was included in Chinese Chemical Letters in 2007.COA of Formula: C8H14O4 The following contents are mentioned in the article:
Fructone (2-methyl-2-ethylacetoacetate-1,3-dioxolane), a flavoring material, was synthesized from Et acetoacetate and glycol using five water-soluble Bronsted acid ionic liquids as catalysts for the first time. The used Bronsted acid ionic liquids include [Hmim]Tfa, [Hmim]Tsa, [Hmim]BF4, [Bmim]HSO4, and [Bmim]H2PO4, and [Hmim]BF4 showed the highest catalytic activity for the preparation of fructone. After reaction, the product could be isolated from the reaction system automatically, and the ionic liquid could be directly reused without dehydration. This study involved multiple reactions and reactants, such as Ethyl 2-(2-methyl-1,3-dioxolan-2-yl)acetate (cas: 6413-10-1COA of Formula: C8H14O4).
Ethyl 2-(2-methyl-1,3-dioxolan-2-yl)acetate (cas: 6413-10-1) belongs to dioxole derivatives. Dioxoles, particularly fluorinated dioxoles, are used as co-monomers to make polymers that find use in forming protective coatings for chemical resistance. Although benzodioxole is not particularly important, many related compounds containing the methylenedioxyphenyl group are bioactive, and thus are found in pesticides and pharmaceuticals.COA of Formula: C8H14O4
